Presentation of large size photos, as part of a new theme :
« PARALLÈLES MINÉRALES – Rencontres improbables »
Peaux minérales, froides ou sensuelles ?
La lumière les frappe mais l’ombre les caresse ou les protège.
Toutes deux participent à l’émotion du contraste.
Les photons rencontrent la surface révélée à mes yeux
puis repartent vers le soleil en rayons infinis.
L’image cadrée, extraite du paysage urbain, dans laquelle
mon regard plonge et accompagne les lignes minérales,
se révèle comme une véritable « Parallèlothérapie ».

Presentation of my new book « D’AIR ET DE FEU »
Exposition of large size photos from the book.
Hot air balloons are approached in a poetic way and photos are in « resonance »
with poetic thoughts inspired by this « out of the ordinary machine ».
This book represents the work of years of shooting on the largest event of its kind
in the world : the « Grand Est Mondial Air Ballons ».
I consider it as well as a tribute to Jean-François Pilâtre de Rozier, native of the
Lorraine region, who was the first man who had the courage to fly aboard a flying
machine, on November 21st,1783.
Philippe Buron Pilâtre, descendant of the illustrious balloonist, manufacturer of hot air
balloons and creator of the event in 1989, made his personal contribution by writing
the book’s preface. Many thanks to him !

FLO SUR UN AIR D’OPÉRA…
Il le dit lui-même : « J’ai été emporté par
les sentiments de Werther, j’ai flotté sur
les nuages du rêve de Madama Butterfly
et j’ai été transpercé par la lame de la
tragédie de MacBeth… »
Claude MacBurnie a la sensibilité lyrique
à fleur d’objectif. Ce photographe, également
graphiste publicitaire, basé à Nice, rue de Paris,
fait actuellement passer son vibrant message
chez « Flo ». C’est dans la célèbre brasserie de la rue Sacha Guitry que cet artiste expose, en effet, ses œuvres jusqu’au 30 avril.
Le restaurant s’est donc mis à la sauce des
grandes pages du répertoire de l’Opéra de Nice
et de l’Opéra de Monte-Carlo, par clichés interposés.
On y reconnaît Leo Nucci, Luciano Pavarotti,
Katia Ricciarelli…
Autant dire que Rigoletto, Carmen, Lohengrin
et les autres vont faire chanter les plateaux
de coquillages…

l’Opéra de Monte-Carlo et de l’Opéra de Nice.
